Jenny Lake is often referred to as one of the Crown Jewels in the National Park Service holdings. Locals know it to be a place that our visitors swarm and thus we tend to stay away during the core visitation period in summer. Otherwise, I love riding my bike around it, picking huckleberries on the shore and fishing for lake trout on it when it ices off in the spring.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the *Grand Teton National Park Foundation, which has provided the funding to redesign the attraction, we can all return to a beloved spot in the park any time during the summer. We are so fortunate to have had the foundation working with Grand Teton National Park to ensure the redesign of this amenity that almost every one of the visitors to the area wants to experience.
