Lost Creek Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
This is the second time a listing of Live Water Properties Broker Latham Jenkins has made an international “top 5” list.
Every December, Mansion Global, an award-winning, international platform about the global real estate market, announces which of its 365 Listings of the Day were the year’s most popular with its readership of discerning real estate enthusiasts.
Lost Creek Ranch, a 50-acre turnkey ranch with 27 buildings and adjacent to Grand Teton National Park was #4 on the 2023 list. Celebrity estates and a 300-acre Irish property with an 18th century home and 16th century castle rounded the list out. “True fantasy homes rose to the top as the most popular Listings of the Day this year among Mansion Global readers,” wrote Liz Lucking and Beckie Strum in the article announcing the top 5. “Readers were drawn to escapist retreats and mansions linked to the rich and famous.”
Making Lost Creek’s ranking as the fourth most-read Listing of the Day in 2023 more impressive is that it was first featured on Mansion Global on November 23, only a little more than one month before the list was tallied. “It was a huge accolade for Lost Creek to be included alongside such distinctive properties,” says Latham, who is a 2023 RISMedia Real Estate Newsmaker and in 2021 and 2022 was the national top producer for Live Water Properties and also the top individual sales agent in Wyoming.“But, who knows how high up the list it could have made it with a longer run?”
“The number of readers drawn to Lost Creek is a testament not only to the fact that it is a distinctive property, but also to the great work my team did to market and position it,” Latham says.
Lost Creek Ranch is Latham’s second listing to have achieved this level of recognition and engagement. In 2020, Cody Creek Sanctuary, a 65-acre Jackson Hole property with a resident elk herd, spring creeks, and a traditional log home, came in third place in the Wall Street Journal’s annual House of the Year reader poll.

Including Cody Creek Sanctuary and Lost Creek, five of Latham’s recent listings have received international media attention. “Two of these five placements making enough of an impression to land on best-of lists at the end of the year—that’s extraordinary,” Latham says.
Latham credits this success to his skills as a storyteller. To inform Lost Creek’s marketing narrative, he spent hundreds of hours on the property at different times of the day (and night). “I feel the obligation when listing a property to not disgrace it by skimping on doing my homework,” he says. “I want to familiarize myself firsthand with a property’s key attributes, from the physical to the cultural, historical, and ecological. My goal in investing all of this time is to ensure that the marketing and positioning of a property tells a story that connects with the right buyer.”
Cody Creek Sanctuary was the first time Wyoming had a listing of the year. “Jackson Hole has been on the national stage for more than 30 years now, but it wasn’t until Cody Creek in 2020 that a listing here captured the attention of an affluent, global audience,” Latham says. “That was when I knew that my storytelling approach worked. Achieving the same level of recognition with Lost Creek in 2023 shows that the way I market and promote properties continues to resonate with luxury media and buyers.”
